About Firely Adult Residential Services

Marshall Street Home is designed for two individuals with physical and/or medical disabilities. The residents enjoy game nights, watch movies and spending time outside.

Beechwood Road is designed for three individuals with physical and/or medical disabilities. All of the residents have so much in common. They enjoy social media, going out into the community volunteering and exploring new adventures.

The best part of all our homes is the social aspects. All the residents get together for barbeques, going shopping, Flyers games etc…

Philosophy

Having worked for various nursing companies, as well as having a sibling who is medically fragile and disabled, allowed the owners to recognize a need for a new approach to empathetic, compassionate and committed home nursing care. They believe this philosophy should be the standard and they pass this on to their management and field staff.

Eligibility

Individuals age 21 and older who are medically fragile and physically disabled, with a nursing need. Each consumer must be on an Independence, OBRA, or Commcare Waiver.

Waivers Eligibility for Adult Home

Independence Waiver

For individuals with physical disabilities allows them to live in the community and remain as independent as possible. Nursing Services available to individuals who are technology dependent.

OBRA Waiver

Home and community based services to individuals with physical disabilities to allow them to live in the community and remain as independent as possible. Nursing and Residential services are available.

Commcare Waiver

An individual must have a medically determinable diagnosis of Traumatic Brain Injury. Must require Nursing Services.

Our Specialty Team

Our team works together in the home of our consumer, creating a caring and loving environment. The team consists of a House Manager, Social Worker, Skilled Nurses with Extensive Respiratory Training, and a Specialized Patient Support Aide.

Nursing services are available 24/7 to assure all of the needs of each consumer are met. Each client is followed by a Primary Care Physician. Firely Adult Services will schedule all appointments and set up the necessary transportation to and from appointments.

Nursing services include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily Assessments

  • Ostomy Care/Wound Care

  • Seizures

  • Trach/Vent

  • Enteral Feeds/Feeding Therapy

  • Medication Administration

  • Central Lines

  • Diabetic Monitoring

  • Foley Bags

  • O2 Therapy/Pulse Ox Monitoring/IPV/Coffalator/CPT Vest

Firely Adult Services work with the client and their support system to develop a plan and goals to assist the client in living a more independent and richer life in their communities. Opportunities to participate in but not limited to:
